Lynne Sue Wallenbrock Bunch, a devoted mother and beloved sister, passed away peacefully on December 28 at the age of 73. She was a loving mother whose greatest joy was her three children, and a cherished sister whose loyalty and kindness defined her relationships. Lynne had a generous heart, a quick wit, and a deep capacity for love that touched everyone who knew her.
Born on February 19, 1952, in St. Charles, Missouri, Lynne moved with her family to Southern California shortly after her birth. She attended San Marino High School, where she was known for her warm personality, good nature, and close friendships.
Lynne married Dale Bunch in 1984 and together they raised three children. She later moved to Palm Desert, where she devoted herself to raising her family and became actively involved in the community. Her passion for helping others led her to volunteer at numerous golf events and ultimately to found the “Dancing With Our Stars” (DWOS) charity event in the Coachella Valley. She launched DWOS in 2006 through her company, A Charity Affaire, leaving a lasting impact through her philanthropy and leadership.
Lynne is survived by her children, Bria, Jake, and Logan; her siblings, Craig, Rick, and Judd; her grandchildren Sawyer, Holden, Kimberlyn, Atlas, Imogen, Elena, and Felix; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.
